Focus on the Boss: Units attack the boss of an enemy team.If they're hit by another enemy, their focus shifts to them. All units have a base set of stats that can be manipulated by placing cards on to it. The opposing team must be defeated in order to win or further progress if a mission has multiple rounds (up to 3).Īlso deviating from its predecessor, the combat between the characters is completely automatic, and the characters' behavior in regards to how they attack and evade normally is uncontrollable by the player. Using a team of up to three characters, players will engage in combat with an opposing team also composed of up to three characters. Unlike its predecessor, Smash Rising's gameplay is an action RPG.
